For many toddlers and preschool-age children a highlight of the week can be watching the garbage truck stop in front of the house and lift the bins high into the air in all their noisy power and glory. This big, bright green-and-yellow garbage truck from Bruder Toys will provide hours of creative and imaginative play. The six-wheeled plastic truck measures approximately 2 feet long, 6 inches wide, and 10 inches tall. The truck comes with two small, realistic bins in yellow and blue. The two bins hook on to the tailgate, which lifts with a lever. Other turning knobs dump the trash and compact it. This toy could be used as a recycling truck given the recycling symbol on the side, which makes it a great educational toy to introduce environmental consciousness. Garbage Truck Birthday Present
My son told me for two months that he wanted a "real" garbage truck for his birthday. I went online to Toysrus and was sent to Amazon.com. He was and still is thrilled with this toy. Fantastic job and it works like a "real" garbage truck.
